Years ago, I introduced color into my wardrobe and I never really looked back. Whether I’m wearing color head to toe or boldly to make a statement, I feel the most confident and happy when rocking a colorful outfit. However, even the most colorful girls in this world need balance — and for me, that’s neutrals. Neutrals and I go way back — in fact, it’s all I used to wear. White, grey, black and maybe the occasional shade of dark green. They were comforting, familiar and felt elevated. It has been a while since I ventured back into the neutral section of my closet. That was, until Callahan and I were introduced.

Callahan specializes in all-season knitwear that kick your otherwise go-to basics up a notch. I immediately fell in love with their two piece white set: the Lola Pant and the Coretta Top. Talk about a dream pair! The Lola pants are 100% cotton meaning they are 100% breathable. They embrace comfort and elevated style and can be worn with a variety of shoes to dress up or down. The Coretta Top is extremely versatile and is also 100% cotton. Both of these pieces are so versatile, they are perfect as we are in the middle of transitioning seasons. I decided to pair these two items together with a pair of white Zara block heels - hello, monochrome! Whoever said white after Labor Day was sin, clearly wasn’t living!

My favorite way to rock neutrals is to pair them with accessories that don’t blend in. My Amazon Fashion brown croc translucent bag (it’s a Staud lookalike but a fraction of the price!) ties in the fall color palette I’m loving lately. I also own this bag in white! Metallic accents of layered statement necklaces also make this outfit anything but boring.

The Seattle summer may be winding down but the fashion just keeps getting better and better! Versatile pieces from brands like Callahan make the transition that much easier (and more stylish).
