Graphic play with Sub Urban Riot

This is the summer of graphic tees! Who else agrees? I just can't get enough of tees covered in witty sayings, graphic colors and patterns. Graphic tees can be worn in a variety of different ways (I'll share my favorite ways to style them below) but my summer go-to is a front tuck into a high-waisted pair of denim with block heels or sandals.

Recently, I scored a few favorite tees and a pullover sweatshirt from Sub Urban Riot and have been having so much fun coming up with ways to wear these items during these sunny and hot Seattle summer days we've been having. You can shop my Vitamin Sea graphic tee here! Sub Urban Riot was founded in Venice, California and encapsulates my love for California in just about every item of clothing they sell.

Here are some of my favorite items you can shop on their site. Click image to shop.

Aside from the graphic tee front tuck into a pair of high-waisted skinnies or "mom jeans," I have a couple other tricks up my sleeve of how I like to rock a tee.

- Knotted with denim, a skirt, shorts. This is a go-to look you can rock on the weekends or when you're going out for the night when worn with shorts or denim. It's a fun alternative to tucking in your t-shirt and it's super easy to do! If you want to make it work appropriate pair the knotted tee with a longer skirt. *Photos from Pinterest.

- Paired with graphic pants or a colorful skirt. If there's one thing I love it's mixing and matching colors and patterns. Don't be afraid to get graphic with your outfit -- pair your graphic tee with patterns like stripes or polka dots. If your tee is more colorful, wear colorful pants to play off the colors of it! Also, pair your colorful accessories with the outfit if you're feeling color-confident. *Photos from Pinterest.
