To think that three years ago I rarely dabbled in color and pattern mixing in my wardrobe is almost mind blowing. Now, I can't get enough of it! The bolder the prints and colors, the better. Today, I'm sharing one of my favorite go-to looks this fall where texture, pattern and color shape this outfit into the overall statement it is.

I received this colorful blouse from BL^NKa London-based clothing brand that features an array of clothing styles that lean into a bohemian aesthetic. I received this blouse from BL^NK that is Anthropologie brand and it consists of my favorite colors to date: mustard yellows, pinks, reds, purples and black polka dots to ground the palette. It has a button-up back detailing and the gathered sleeves also is a nice touch. This top is light-weight making it a perfect transitional piece from summer to fall and is breezy and easy to wear in a variety of outfits: paired with high-waisted jeans or tucked into a skirt (as seen here with my velvet mustard Topshop pleated skirt). I love versatile pieces like this! My velvet pleated skirt has been an all-time favorite of mine the last few years since I scored it during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale a couple of years ago.

I have too much fun accessorizing with this patterned blouse! There are so many options of what purse to pair it with. But I think my go-to for fall will be this Foley + Corinna gingham bag! As if you didn't know this already: I'm OBSESSED with gingham! It's a pattern that I refuse to let die in my wardrobe. This mini tate tote in gingham is the ultimate fall bag. It's the perfect size for hauling necessities and can be worn over the shoulder with the strap or carried around by its handles -- seriously, versatility is key.

Some other key features to this bag I love to highlight is the fact its vegan leather, fully-lined, magnetic snap closure (for easy access) and has interior pockets for access storage. And lastly, let's chat about pattern mixing! As much as I love a head-to-toe neutral look, it's so much fun to wear a variety of patterns and colors together. Sometimes its daunting to determine what goes, but sometimes patterns don't need to match to be complementary. Also, rock your outfit with confidence, that helps, too.

To bring out the white of my handbag, I'm showing off my Nordstrom Anniversary shoe finds from this year. These studded white slip-ons are going to get a lot of wear this season! Leather, block heel with studded detailing, who can resist?

What are some of your favorite ways to experiment with pattern this fall? Leave a comment below.
