No beauty secrets with OY-L

With fall fast approaching (Friday is the first official day!) I'm doing my best to prep for the harsh weather ahead. During the fall, my skin feels so dry and I'm constantly seeking out ways to help remedy my skin - whether it be a weekly facial mask, exfoliating more frequently or applying layers of lip balm, it's no secret I'm on the hunt for products that keeps my skin feeling moisturized, healthy and radiant all year long.

One brand I believe will go the distance with me this fall (and beyond) is OY-L, a beauty brand that prides itself on having no secrets. All too often beauty products consist of mystery ingredients and over-promise their results. I like beauty products that are upfront about what they are made of and actually provide results. OY-L products are 100% natural/plant-derived and have a long list of no's: no phthalates, no parabens, no color pigments, no formaldehyde, no preservatives and no mineral oil, just to name a few. Natural is the main ingredient.

I am someone who battles all-over dry skin in the fall and winter, I was eager to try out the Body Butter in Orange Rose, the perfect scent for fall - a refreshing scent but not too sweet of an aroma. The body butter's intention is to hydrate the skin leaving your skin feeling healthy and soft. I have been using this body butter DAILY and it keeps my skin feeling so soft, eliminating dry patches that typically crop up on my elbows, knees and upper arms. The body butter consists of hemp seed oil, avocado oil, shea olein, meadowfoam seed oil, jojoba oil, essential oils, vitamin E and arrowroot, a pleathora of natural and nourishing ingredients - perfect for those who also have extremely sensitive skin.

As if I could say no to another Orange Rose flavored product, and one of my favorite beauty products of fall for that matter: the Orange Rose Lip Balm. This lip balm is meant to hydrate and restore, consisting of mango butter, castor oil, beeswax, Manuka 20+ honey, vitamin E, orange peel oil, rose flower oil and rosehip fruit powder - leaving your lips with a slight pale pink hue, an added bonus to a lip balm in my opinion.

As I mentioned, in the fall, my go-to makeup accessory is lip balm. I can't get enough. A lip balm that provides long lasting moisture is an automatic win in my book. The Manuka Latte Lip Balm has been my companion the last week as the weather has shifted from blazing hot to extreme (okay, 50's) cold. These shifts in temperature dry out my lips more than anything and having a lip balm on hand is a must! This small lip balm is the perfect size for transport and consists of a delightful flavor consisting of coffee butter, castor oil, Manuka 20+ honey, vitamin E and beeswax - a combo that is sure to keep your lips feeling moisturized and protected from the harsh elements outdoors.

OY-L is a brand that is fully transparent in the ingredients that make up each product. Also, I should mention that OY-L is not limited to body butters and balms, in fact, they have a number of other products with no hidden secrets or ingredients like body scrubs, bath salts, facial mists, face washes, exfoliating masks, face creams and cleansing powders that I'm dying to try out this fall and winter to keep my skin care routine on point.

Thank you to OY-L for collaborating on this blog post! All thoughts and opinions expressed on West Coast Aesthetic are my own and every collaboration is done with absolute integrity.
