Fitcode: Heavenly Denim

When it comes to jeans, I'm often very intimidated. I'm intimidated by the process it takes to find the perfect fit, length and size -- speaking of size, does anyone else have 3-4 different jeans sizes they wear depending on the brand and style? As a result, denim is often the most neglected part of my wardrobe because I don't have the patience for the try on process. It wasn't until I was introduced to my favorite pair of jeans to date that I've changed my tune about making the effort to find quality denim.

Thanks to FitcodeI was introduced to my new pair of Blank NYC Skinny Classique in Brotox jeans. The best part of this experience?! I didn't have to try on a zillion pairs of jeans to find the perfect fit for me. Courtesy of their Fit Quiz, by answering several questions about my body type and jean preferences I was taken to denim that would most likely suit my style and fit my body.

While I love a pair of distressed denim, I've found what I truly lack in my wardrobe is a classic pair of blue jeans. I'm a fan of medium to dark wash, so I knew I wanted to find something in this color and style. I've heard amazing things about the Blank NYC brand so I decided to give their skinny classique fit a try. When it came to sizing, I am generally pretty intimidated about committing to one size since I vary depending on the brand. However, I was able to consult with a member of the Fitcode team about what sizes I wear in various brands so they could get a feel for what would fit me best. They provided me with their size recommendation and just like that, my jeans were on their way!

And sure enough, these jeans are hands down the most comfortable and best fitting jeans I've owned! They accentuate all of the right areas that you hope for when buying a pair of jeans. I love the medium/dark wash too -- it goes with everything! The style is more fitted/skinny but also look stylish when cuffed. Fitcode made finding these pair of jeans so simple and provided me with my new favorite brand to wear -- it's a win/win.

When it comes to styling these jeans, it's easy, because they go with everything and look flattering at the same time! I recently took a trip to White Rock, BC with KNDM Co. on a warm, summer day and I knew we'd be grabbing dinner and doing some strolling, so I wanted an outfit more on the casual-side. To accentuate the denim, I paired my Blank NYC jeans with my off the shoulder striped top from ZaraI've been loving the off the shoulder trend this summer and I love a top that is classic in fit and style that will be a classic for seasons to come! That's how I feel about this striped top. To show off my jeans and keep the look casual, I tucked in the front of my top.

For shoes, I went with my favorite summer find: the wanna-be Birkenstocks I found at Sports Authority in copper. These shoes are my go-to for relaxing, summer days but also provide a little metallic flare to my outfit. They are so comfortable too, which makes strolling in them enjoyable (and stylish)!

For accessorizing, I'm wearing my layered gold Madewell bar necklace. It's one of my favorite dainty pieces to wear and it goes with everything! I'm also wearing my ALEX AND ANI initial bracelet in gold -- I'm a sucker for the minimalistic charm bracelet style. To keep squinting to a minimum, I'm wearing my new, favorite yellow/grey duo-tone sunnies from LOFT that I scored during their 40% off sale. I love the pop of color they bring into my outfit!

For carrying all of my necessities when traveling out of the country, I'm using my Rebecca Minkoff white tote bag with zipper detailing I scored from Nordstrom Rack. It's the perfect size and weight for hauling my must-haves for the day and it's a versatile style in which you can use it handheld or over the shoulder.

When it comes to exploring adorable waterfront towns, this is my outfit of choice for staying stylish and comfortable when I'm on the go!
