Staying cozy with Salt Water Luxe
TGIF! I couldn't be happier that the weekend is here! Not to mention, it's a long weekend with the New Year! I'm so excited to have an extra day to relax and regroup while greeting 2018.
Needless to say, after holiday traveling and getting back into the swing of things at work, I'm ready for some R&R this weekend. I can't think of a better way to enjoy some much-needed relaxation than in my comfortable, new athleisure wear courtesy of Salt Water Luxe.
I have been in Insta-love with this brand for quite some time so receiving these Tied To You Pants was a real treat! They make for the perfect lounge pant but are still stylish enough to wear out in public. I love the fact I can wear joggers that feel like sweats in public while still feeling and looking socially acceptable.
These pants are extremely soft and come in a fun textured fabric with palm/floral detailing! The pattern is subtle, but it makes the joggers far from basic. I also love the lace-up grommet detail in the front. I love showing it off by tucking in the front of a tee or sweatshirt to my pants. The pant is overall a jogger style so they are meant to fit a bit more on the loose side (which I prefer!) They fall above the ankle which gives you plenty of opportunity to wear different shoes and socks. I prefer to wear an athletic sneaker with these joggers to play up the athleisure vibe.
In fact, I decided to go full-blown monochrome with this outfit I love wearing when I'm on the go! I decided to wear my ruffle sleeve sweatshirt from Maude with these pants. I like how these pieces compliment each other from the subtle detailing on the pants to the bold ruffles of my top. I tucked in the front of my sweatshirt to show off the lace-up detail of my pants and threw on a pair of Nike Free sneakers. During the winter, I love accessories that keep me warm but looking stylish! I opted for my Topshop cross scarf (it's reversible so you can show off the black side, white side or both) and my Nordstrom grey baseball style hat (you can shop a similar one here) I love how bold accessories help make this outfit pop and play up the casual vibe I'm going for.
I should be embarrassed to admit I wear this outfit and these joggers all too often, but I'm not! When you find items of clothing this comfortable, it's hard to resist!
