Kicks & Prints: Home Comfort

The last look of my Kicks & Prints collaboration with Seattle-based photographer KNDM Co. is here and it is my favorite look of the series! Why? Well, this look truly embraces my style when lounging around at home -- Home Comfort embraces casual loungewear with a little bit of a kick.

If it's the afternoon and I'm in my apartment you can usually catch me in layers and comfortable pants. My favorite pants to date are the jogger pants. Not only are they on trend but they feel like pajamas --a must have item for every lady's closet! I scored my grey joggers from Target and I love the fit. I prefer my joggers on the looser side and cuffed at the ankle so I have option play when it comes to wearing shoes: sandals, athletic shoes, flats or heels. Joggers can be dressed up for a night out or are the perfect lounge pant when you're not feeling like sporting pajamas. To compliment my casual jogger pants I added a flowy tank top from Nordstrom to the mix. To bring out the color of my grey joggers and add some pattern to my look I layered my tank with my favorite gifted monochromatic zip-up jacket. The floral and striped cut-out pattern is so unique and makes for a great layering piece. As much as I enjoy fitted jackets, I appreciate the looser fit of this zip-up because it keeps the outfit more flowy and relaxed.

Now, when it comes to shoes, if I'm going to wear any at all around my home it's going to be one of my pairs of Nikes. In this look I wanted to give my monochromatic look a bit of a pop with some color and if purple Nikes don't do the trick I don't know what does! These shoes are more on the athletic side but when you're rockin' a laid back look, embrace the sporty comfy-casual vibe. To play off the color of my shoes I am wearing my Pantone ice watch in Radiant Orchid (my favorite Pantone color!) And yes, I realize I have just divulged how much of a design nerd I truly am. Sporty watches make great accessories with relaxed yet fashionable outfits even when you're wearing athletic shoes! Always remember, sporty can be stylish.

Also, take a look into more sneak peeks of my home (or as I call it, The Bachelorette Pad). So stoked Kami was able to capture me in my happy place I get to call home for this series!
