Summer hair care with Oribe

During the summer, I try my best to let my hair have a break from the hot tools, especially when it's the time of the year you can get away with the loose beach waves. I've been starting to re-evaluate my hair care routine as I prep for fall and winter months where fresh out of the shower hair is not an option - after all, no one wants to go to work with wet hair in the cold, rainy months.

In case you missed my recent Summer Hair Achieved blog post, I shared my summer lob and balayage courtesy of Saige Jacobs from Collage on First. She's my hair guru and is constantly introducing me to products that keep my hair looking fabulous. Over the course of the last year, Saige has preached her love of Oribe. Luckily, I recently had the opportunity to try out a variety of Oribe products to keep my hair healthy and stylish all summer long and for the months to come! Let's just say, my summer hair care routine is in full swing.

I've been integrating Oribe into my daily and weekly hair routine and so far, I'm loving the results! We're talking shiny, smooth, healthy, thick hair! All things I've been hoping to maintain with my latest end of summer lob. Not to mention, all Oribe products smell INCREDIBLE! Another amazing perk when it comes to hair products.

Here's a breakdown of my favorite Oribe products to date and why they're worth adding to your hair care routine!

SIGNATURE SHAMPOO / Use: 2-3 times a week. I swear-by this shampoo. A little goes a long way - we're talking instant lather! This shampoo aims to detangle, provide protection and anti breakage and leaves hair feeling instantly smooth after the shower so you're not fighting through knots post-shower. I incorporate this shampoo into my weekly routine 2-3 times a week depending on how greasy my hair is feeling/looking.

SIGNATURE CONDITIONERUse: Daily. The perfect follow-up to the signature shampoo! I've been using this conditioner daily even when I don't shampoo! It helps revive hair, protect against split ends and also helps with detangling.

ANTI-HUMIDITY SPRAY Use: Dependent on the weather, but lately it's been daily. The most incredible spray for those of us living in places with humidity in the air! My hair naturally has a bit of frizz to it, especially at my scalp, so having a spray that aims to tame the frizz, maintain blowouts and curls is a must

FEATHERBALM WEIGHTLESS STYLERUse: 2-3 times a week. I often avoid using an obscene amount of styling products in my hair since my hair is so thin and gets greasy/oily FAST. I've found this weightless styler to be a non-negotiable in my hair routine due to the fact I hardly remember I've used it once it's applied. It's also not one of those products you start noticing greases up your hair later in the day. In fact, this weightless styler is designed for finer hair textures and aims to smoothen and hydrate hair all while holding blow-outs, air dried hair and other styles you achieve with hot tools. You can apply this styler throughout damp hair from the shower and blow dry or allow your hair to air dry, or, you can do what I do and apply as a finishing polish once you're done styling out your 'do.

DRY TEXTURIZING SPRAYUse: 1-2 a week. My hair always tends to fall flat. This spray is designed to increase volume and texture in the hair once applied to the roots and followed up with the teasing technique. My hair is constantly lacking the volume I crave so using this spray helps fill out my pony tails, top knots or even when my hair is worn down and I need that extra oomph.
