A candle that is made for everyone

Happy Friday, friends! The minute the clock strikes 5pm, Tristan and I are making a break for the coast for a weekend of camping. This has been one of the few free weekends of our summer and we're taking advantage of it! When I'm not lucky enough to spend time soaking in the aroma of a campfire or ocean during the summer, you'll find me at home enjoying other soothing fragrances such as my latest Boy Smells candle purchase. I'm quite the candle fanatic - I have two shelves full in my storage closet! I should be resisting the urge to splurge on candles, but there has been something about the Boy Smells brand that has intrigued me since I discovered them via Instagram a few months back.

For me, it starts with the branding. Boy Smells candles are hand-poured in Los Angeles and the brand itself was co-founded by two men who started out experimenting with scents. Eventually, they developed the candles and brand that Boy Smells is today offering a variety of fragrances that can appeal to anyone under the sun - but in particular these candles embrace aromas that men typically gravitate toward. The candles come in sleek packaging and are set inside a black jar with its complimentary pink label. As a lover of good design, Boy Smells already had me swooning.

Now let's talk about the scent. I tried Lanai because it sounded like it would be a dream! And I'm happy to inform that it smells just like the tropical paradise I had hoped. Consisting of coconut, pink peppercorn, orange blossom, coal and clove - this beeswax and coconut wax blended candle is incredible! I'm constantly craving a tropical vacation and this candle embraces all of that and more! Not to mention, Tristan also loves the scent! It is the perfect balance of heavy and light ingredients that don't burn too harshly. As this candle burns, my apartment is immediately flooded with scents of the tropics. Boy Smells offers a variety of scents depending on your preference: Floral, Fruity, Herbal and Woody. Here's the best part. For $29 you can purchase your very own Boy Smells candle via The Stell New York. It's an 8.8 ounce size so the price is so worth it! I have been savoring this candle so I only burn it a couple of times a week but so far I'm noticing it doesn't burn rapidly, so it will last a decent amount of time!

Ladies, if you are having trouble getting your your guy on the candle bandwagon - try out Boy Smells! Boy Smells doesn't leave anyone's scent preference out!
