My everlasting love for embroidery

Is it bad that I'm already making fall clothing purchases? I blame the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Zara Summer Sale for getting me in the mood for fall fashion. Some of my favorite trends for the upcoming fall season is by far the colors (bring on mustard yellow!), textures (velvet, satin, denim galore!), and attention to detail - hellooooo, embroidery!
Whether its embroidered shoes, handbags, denim, tops and jackets - I'm obsessed with this trend. Rumor has it that it's not going away any time soon either, so I'm beyond pleased. The minute I laid my eyes on this floral embroidered shirt from Zara I was smitten. I love the bright pops of color for the floral stitching and the overall pattern it creates on the shirt. The florals are on both the front, sides and back of the shirt so no matter the angle, you're showing off a statement anywhere you go. The fabric of the shirt is lightweight so it makes wearing it in the summer bearable. The 3/4 length sleeves also help and leave room for accessorizing!
In the fall, I anticipate pairing this embroidery shirt with faux leather leggings and boots since this shirt is long in length, it can also play off as a dress or tunic.
In the summer, I'm more casual. This top goes perfectly with my pair of STS Blue Emma Distressed Ankle Skinny jeans. They are darker in denim wash and are slightly distressed in spots, not to mention, the raw hem ankle detailing. I also am wearing my new pair of Pour La Victorie LAVA sandals in the color flame (they come in other colors too!) and are currently on sale for $86 from their original $175 price! I love the tie-up detail in the back, they make such a statment! These sandals are perfect for summer time - they are my go-to's for date night with a little black dress and are ideal with a pair of Levis denim shorts. Shoes that are this versatile are a must-have for me.
Accessorizing in the summer will almost always include a pair of sunnies - these yellow LOFT sunglasses are one of my favorites to wear. I can't get enough of the color! Not to mention, it compliments my colorful embroidered top nicely. My black and gold clutch purse from Nashville is the perfect size for carrying summer essentials. I've received so many compliments on this little clutch. It also comes with a strap if I want to wear it as a crossbody instead of having to carry it. Once again, versatility is key.
I've been having way too much fun experimenting with color, pattern and texture this summer! This embroidery top checks all of the boxes and fuels my love for wearing statement pieces no matter what time of the year it is.
