Today I'm sharing a very special someone on the blog with me - my boyfriend, Tristan! A lot of you "know" Tristan through social media and previous blog collaborations, but I'm here to give you a little bit more background on "us" and all of the details on our new, favorite hometown sweatshirts courtesy of Culk.

Tristan and I received our hometown sweatshirts from Culk and have been proudly reppin' them ever since. They are made out of cotton and polyester, so they are extremely soft and comfortable to wear or layer! We've been wearing them with pride this winter.

My Minimal Seattle Crewneck Sweatshirt shows off the fact I'm a PNW-born and raised girl. In recent years, Seattle has become my home and although I have a love/hate relationship with this city due the weather, I still, on most days, love being from here.

Tristan is wearing his Minimal Golden Gate Bridge Crewneck to represent his upbringing in the Bay Area (the East Bay to get more specific). It's no wonder I'd fall in love with a guy from one of my favorite places in the world!

Culk prints and sells an array of hometown-based (primarily San Fran and Seattle) t-shirts, sweatshirts and tank tops as well as kids and baby clothing (that would make the cutest baby shower gift!) All are printed in San Francisco with the purpose of "Commemorating Urban Landscapes, Kind of" - hence, Culk's name.

And now, for a little bit of background on "us."

Tristan and I have been dating over two years now. We officially met on the dating app Tinder (I'm always a little embarrassed to admit this, but, so is the life of dating).

On our first date, I lied and told Tristan that I liked whiskey and as part of our date he took me to a bar in Fremont where we had individual whiskey tastings - talk about karma! We still laugh about this story all of the time.

Since dating Tristan, he's taught me how to ski and golf - two sports I never really thought I'd enjoy but I now love. This is a true testament to his patience and willingness to bring me out of my comfort zone.

We've traveled to five states and have been out of the country to Victoria, B.C together. We'll be doing our first trip abroad together to London in the spring! We also have our Travel Wishlist of places we want to visit in the months and years to come!

My favorite quality of Tristan's is his heart - he's sensitive, patient, thoughtful and sentimental. I couldn't be luckier!

I'm so glad we have our Culk hometown sweatshirts to celebrate where we both started and where we are now. And I'm so thankful that life brought us together here in Seattle despite our different upbringings.

Thank you to Culk for collaborating on this product sponsored blog post! All thoughts and opinions expressed on West Coast Aesthetic are my own and every collaboration is done with absolute integrity.
