The versatile one piece

One pieces, my seasonal go-to because they are just that versatile. Whether you are hoping to dress up your look with a pair of heels or keep your outfit casual, a one piece is an item of clothing that can help you achieve the type of mood you are going for. It's all about the style you select.

I've become smitten with the jumpsuit one-piece style. When I found this ASTR teal one piece from Nordstrom I immediately fell in love with the fit and details -- off the shoulder, a deep scoop neck and ruffled frontal detailing...and a one piece, I mean, c'mon. It's all of my favorite things!

I tend to wear this one piece jumper for dressier occasions. I love to pair it with a nice black or nude heel, statement necklace and a clutch. But, if you know me, you know I'm always looking for an opportunity to switch things up when it comes to styling. I decided to keep this outfit more low-key and everyday appropriate. How did I dress down the one piece?

When dressing down this look it all came down to what shoes I selected. I decided to wear my black tassel Steve Madden block heel sandals to keep the look more casual but not so much so that I'm wearing Birkenstocks. Accessorizing was also left to more of a minimum but that's not to say I didn't want to show off some of my favorite gold statement pieces. A gold wrap collar necklace from Forever21 and my favorite criss-cross gold ring from Brass Plum did just the trick!

By throwing on a pair of my rose gold Brass Plum sunnies I am golden for the beach in this comfortable and stylish look! The fabric of the one piece is so breezy and light it keeps me cool even on the warmest of days.
