My spin on festival wear | Feelin' golden

It's been in the 70's and 80's in Seattle this week and I'm soaking in every ounce of sunshine I can all while bracing myself for even warmer days to come! With days that feel like summer, I'm getting more excited to wear more of my favorite looks perfect for hot days. In my last look from my festival-inspired photoshoot with KNDM Co., I am brightening things up with some color and contrast -- two things I really enjoy playing around with this season.

This outfit consists of my favorite summer shorts from Forever21 made out of a chiffon-like fabric that are super comfortable and airy -- perfect for hot days! I love the bold pattern and striping. They go with everything!

To add some color into the mix, I am wearing an embroidered boho top from Nordstrom. I love this top for all of its details in the front and on the sleeves.

Not to mention, I love wearing this color in the summer! It's the perfect shade of yellow that is perfect for the most golden time of the year. Since this top is see-through I decided instead of wearing my typical bandeau top underneath I'd switch things up with my leather Triangl leather bandeau bikini top. It gives the same support as a bandeau all while adding some interesting detail to my outfit by having leather accented underneath. In the summer you can just getaway with these sorts of hidden tricks of the trade.

For accessorizing, I'm keeping my shoes simple but more on the dressier side by wearing my Target slip-on ankle boots that go with seriously, everything during every season! To play up my golden vibes, I'm wearing, my usual go-to gold statement jewelry: my Madewell stacked bar necklaces paired with a gold bracelet cuff with white beaded accents is a simple way to make a summer outfit more stylish.

There is no need to overthink festival-inspired wear, instead, take the bits and pieces you like and apply that to a single outfit. Chances are, you'll come away with a winning look all while staying on trend!
