On the go with Just Porter

One year ago, Tristan and I went on our first real adventure together in Victoria B.C. and since then we've hiked peaks, driven along the Oregon coastline and are constantly exploring all the beauty here in the Pacific Northwest, that we are fortunate enough to call home. Last weekend, adventure called again and we decided it was time (rain or shine) to go off the grid for a camping trip in the Olympic National Park.

While we do enjoy spontaneous and fun trips these, we also like to do some planning when it comes to what to bring with us. In this recent collaboration with Just Porter we were provided the perfect Streeter College commuter bag for our travels that is versatile, stylish (available in gray, army green and black) and weatherproof. In the Pacific Northwest, you can never truly rely on the weather forecast so a waterproof bag is the key to success!

This bag can be used in a variety of ways: as a work bag, a school bag, a carry-on and a weekend bag. The expanding and folding options of the flap allows you to dictate what occasion is best suited for use. It's also lightweight enough that you don't feel bogged down carrying it around. A fun detail I also enjoy about this bag is the orange accents on the zipper and in the interior which made for a subtle yet stylish touch. The bags are designed in such a minimal and sleek way they are 100% gender-neutral, which means anyone can rock one!

But truly, the best part about Just Porter is the fact that when you purchase a bag they will provide a fully stocked bag of school supplies to a child in need. Not to mention, Just Porter works with communities in need by hiring a local bag maker which means by purchasing a bag, you are also helping create jobs. This made my heart so happy and made me feel as though I was somehow, making a difference and contributing to something bigger than myself.
