Ocean Shores
Not too long ago did I get the craving to hop in my car, take a road trip and soak in a lovely view, feel the ocean breeze and have my feet in the sand. Alongside the ocean is one of my favorite places to be no matter the season or weather!
I made the several hour trek to the small / adorable town Ocean Shores on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy some sunshine and much-needed beach time. The ocean was glassy and the beach was fairly clear for a weekend visit. I wasn't feeling overly brave to drive my car out onto the beach so I decided to take a stroll through the sand dunes and beach and the view along the way was well worth it.
If you're looking for a weekend getaway, there's houses for rent and smaller hotels and inns to stay. There are also spots alongside the beach for camping! I definitely anticipate camping out and (hopefully) surfing here come spring.
After all, who can complain about waking up to this view?
