Whenever the opportunity presents itself to support a female-founded brand, I’m all about it. I was introduced to Bobbie Girl by way of Instagram and instantly fell in love with their mantra: Creating comfortable, stylish shoes for the modern woman. – and of course, their shoes. Designed in Austin, Texas and handcrafted in Portugal, Bobbie Girl means business when it comes to producing shoes that are the perfect fit, for you. Each shoe is made in small batches within family-owned factories, which puts means quality over quantity is a priority.
I’ve said it time and time again, who has time for uncomfortable shoes that break the bank? I’ve slowly been removing the shoes that aren’t worth the headache (or blisters) in hopes of replacing them with new and improved shoes that will go the distance. Bobbie Girl is focused on making shoes that have a classic look but with a modern edge – appealing to younger women who want staples in their wardrobe.
Needless to say, I fell in love with my now fall staple shoe, the Jane-Rojo. The Jane comes in other colors (I’ve pretty much decided I need to own all the colors): Black, Ibiza, Siberia. So what makes this heel so appealing? Well, let’s first talk about the heel height: 2.5 inches and it’s a block heel (made from 4mm of shock absorbing foam) for all day comfort – goodbye, uncomfortable stilettos! The shoe has a rounded toe, making for a timeless silhouette and a little bit of that NYC-cool edge.
I’ve styled this heel a number of ways this fall: dressed up with a skirt, paired with a dress, with jeans or my personal favorite, with a multi-colored outfit that is my ‘everyday uniform’. Bobbie Girl heels are appropriate for day or evening. These heels make transitioning from each activity in your day, completely effortless.
