Stylish summer savings

Happy Monday, friends! I'm still getting back into the groove of the work week as I flew back to Seattle today after a weekend spent in the bay area with Tristan and his family and will be leaving to head back down there later this week! It's been such a crazy summer full of travel, weddings and fun all in between work, freelancing and blogging! Not to mention, keeping up with all of the incredible summer sales that are going on! Let's just say, my bank account is still recovering from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Zara Summer Sale. Who else can say the same?

I've been focused on scouting out a good deal instead of buying items full price this summer as I've been busy refreshing my wardrobe for summer and soon-to-be fall. And I'm here to tell you about some of my latest and greatest summer style findings and savings!

Let's start with this Brickyard Buffalo Rilo Wrap Skirt. First off, this skirt is on sale for $22.99 (and only available for 6 more days! So scoop yours up ASAP!) Next, let's talk about the style and print. Wrap skirts are so much fun to wear! You can play up the various ways you tie off the skirt and where - I usually prefer tying this skirt to the side so it shows a little leg as I walk. The beautiful multi-colored floral print covers the skirt's pink fabric. And let me tell you, this fabric is perfect for hot summer days! Nice and breezy BUT not see-though!

The next deal incorporated into this look is the Melie Bianco Bali Bamboo ClutchWho else has been obsessing over the Cult Gaia wooden clutch bag but doesn't want to drop the money or wait for it to be back in stock? THIS GIRL! When I spotted this pretty much identical lookalike for $59 I was beyond sold. The best part about Melie Bianco bags is that they are handmade and their premium leather handbags are 100% vegan - so you know they value quality and wellness. I've been loving mixing this bag with various outfits this summer whether I'm going out for a happy hour, heading to the market or on date night! It makes such a statement and fits my daily essentials. Talk about a steal.

The last deal of this look is my Zara Striped Yellow Top that is sadly no longer apart of the Summer Sale. I scored this shirt for less than $30 and it's become one of my favorites to wear this summer! I've been really loving the color yellow for summer and the style of the flouncy sleeves and bottom of the top makes me so happy - it's girly and more of a cropped style so it goes great worn with a pair of jeans or as seen in this look, layered over a skirt.

To finish off my stylish summer savings outfit, my yellow LOFT sunglasses are my shades of choice - they compliment my top and 7 Charming Sisters statement necklace quite nicely as well as the yellow in my printed skirt. Because this wrap skirt is on the longer side, a 5'2 girl needs a little extra height boost. Insert my Jeffrey Campbell Mules. I can't believe how much I've worn these nude slip-on mules this summer! They are excellent for work, when I'm on the go and for date night or special occasions like a wedding or party.
