Jewelry, entrepreneurship and cacti
It's only natural I'd fall in love with a jewelry brand whose designer Katie Dean is truly an inspiration for every lover of the west coast who thrives off of entrepreneurship and the LA vibe (and sunshine!) I stumbled across Katie Dean Jewelry via Instagram and was instantly smitten with the style of jewelry and the backstory of Katie, the face of the brand, creating her dreams out of scratch and making them a reality!
I was gifted two very special and incredible pieces from the Katie Dean Jewelry line the gold cactus necklace that is dainty in appearance and fun in fit - it's a more circular fitted style so it looks great layered over a sweater or with an open neckline. It's 18K gold plating for my fellow gold lovers out there. The cactus studs to match are also my favorite stud earrings to date - I mean, who can resist cacti? Not this California at heart girl! The studs are 18K gold over a brass base. The majority of KD Jewelry's line are gold pieces - another reason to fall in love if you're into dainty, statement pieces like these.
