Monday Moodboard: Spring 2015 trends
It's officially winter and only days until Christmas and this Monday's mood board honestly has nothing to do with winter. In fact, I may be jumping a bit ahead. But hey, us designers have to plan and anticipate the coming seasons' style and design trends. As a web designer at Nordstrom, I am learning first hand how to plan for and design for a season ahead of the one we are in. And needless to say, it makes me excited for the upcoming seasons, more than I have ever been before! This post is a teaser of my recent findings, inspirations and trends for Spring 2015.
- Pastels - both bright and light (pinks, mints, neutrals/washed out)
- Metallics (silver, gold, glitter)
- Patterns, repetition and textiles
- Illustrative designs and sans serif typefaces
