Members Only: A closet staple
Happy 2019, friends! I can’t believe the new year is already here! It’s been such a bittersweet season spending the holidays with loved ones and taking a bit of a digital hiatus. It’s given me a chance to re-evaluate my priorities for the blog as well as dream, scheme and plan for future content in my corner of the Internet. I’ve also been able to focus on collaborations that make me genuinely excited to share with all of you. Speaking of…I’m diving right into a brand you ALL (yes, guys and gals) need to know about in 2019. Introducing: MEMBERS ONLY.
I was introduced to Members Only when I worked at Nordstrom several years ago and spotted a few men’s jackets that made me swoon. I kept thinking to myself, “Ugh, I’d wear that. I wish it came in my size.” I was thrilled to find out that Members Only now features a fashion-forward women’s jacket collection you can shop! Ladies, look no further than this collection. Now you can match your guy or you can sport your own! No sharing necessary! Whether you’re looking for a parka jacket, a quilted bomber, a denim jacket or a suede jacket, Members Only really takes the cake for variety and for an affordable price point.
Members Only specializes in unique, sophisticated outerwear that is on trend, applicable for every weather and every season. Needless to say, it’s ideal for unpredictable Seattle weather and also makes for the ideal travel jacket!
I tend to run hot so I typically lean toward a jacket that gives me an extra layer but isn’t overly bulky or thick. When I stumbled across the Women’s Washed Satin Boyfriend Jacket I was sold. It’s become my go-to jacket for layering over sweaters for work, wearing it with a silk cami for date night or pairing it with a tee and jeans on the weekends (as seen in this post!) Versatility is key when I shop — I love investing in items that I know I can wear a variety of ways, I don’t like a one and done approach.
I couldn’t recommend my satin boyfriend jacket more! It runs pretty true to size but the style is meant to be slightly oversized in fit. It’s 100% polyester. As much as I love a classic black and many of the other color options this jacket comes in, I decided to go with the Olive. It’s a color I often wear and complements a lot of the other items in my wardrobe. Aside from the color and satin finish, I also love the fact this jacket comes with a front zip and my personal favorite, pockets (a functional and attractive detail to this jacket). After my first test-run with Members Only I know this will be a brand I will continue to integrate into my wardrobe. I can’t voice enough how much the quality, variety and price impressed me. This is truly a brand you don’t want to miss out on this year!
