How to pull off the pajama pant

There are few things better than comfortable pants whether they are yoga pants, your favorite baggy fleece sweatpants or a pair of pajama pants, it's your go-to staple when you come home, have had a rough day or simply want to relax. With athleisure becoming a serious trend this year, I've been having so much fun styling more relaxed pieces into my everyday outfits. Being stylish and comfortable is the key to success.

When it comes to wearing what some may consider to be pajama pants in public, it really comes down to how you style your overall outfit. In this look, I'm showing off how to rock a pair of chiffon floral pants from Target that could play as pajamas or your new favorite staple for nights out.

What I love about these pants is how light they are -- perfect for summer days and evenings! To keep my outfit dressed up, I'm wearing my black Halogen studded heels. Heels instantly make these pants appear appropriate for work or play.

For my top, I kept it simple with a basic scoop neck t-shirt in lavender from Brass Plum. Sometimes it's nice to just go with a classic. My favorite blazer from Nordstrom is worn over the top of my t-shirt to additionally dress up my outfit. I love this blazer because it can be worn casually or formally depending on how it is styled. I love the minimal detailing and paneling in the front and the simple front zipper. A blazer is a classic closet staple that every girl should own.

Because it's summer and has been incredibly hot and sunny the last week, I'm wearing my cat-eye Moorea Seal sunnies. I love these funky glasses because of the cut out detailing and how oversized they are. They instantly make a look more feminine and fun! Throw on a sassy and bright pink lip and you are ready for work, date night or a fun day ahead.

As you can see, pulling off the pajama pant is easier than you think! It's all about how you choose to embrace the comfortable vibe while playing up your own unique style.
