Three Ways to Style the Gigi Pip hat: Look Two
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas spent with loved ones! I can’t believe the holidays have come and gone so quickly.
During the holiday season, one of my highlights was collaborating with Gigi Pip, a stylish accessories brand and getting to style the Annabella Olive Green Floppy Hat, as seen here in this first look post for a work-appropriate outfit. As mentioned in my first post, the Annabella hat is the ideal hat for all occasions as it can be worn casually or dressed up. Made out of 100% wool felt, it also keeps you warm on colder, winter days.
In this second post of the collaboration series, I’m sharing how to style this floppy hat to achieve the ideal weekend-casual look.
If there’s one item of clothing I love to rock on the weekend it’s denim. This Zara denim top is one of my favorites to style into an outfit because of all its detailing: the front has a statement knotted tie and the back has beautiful floral embroidery.
While some people are weary of pairing denim on denim, I say bring it on! For the weekend, the key to success is comfort. A pair of distressed American Eagle jeans were my pick for this outfit as they compliment my top and are my go-to jeans for days I’m feeling a little more casual.
My favorite weekend shoes (that I just have to accept won’t stay as shiny and bright white as they once were) are my Superstar Adidas black and white shoes from Nordstrom. I caved and purchased these shoes in the fall and they have been in constant rotation in my athleisure or weekend outfits.
When it comes to accessorizing, underneath my denim top is my Nanci Minette gold collar necklace that has become my ideal weekend accessory as it is so minimal and lightweight to wear and goes with everything! My custom Daisy Solitaire Kendra Scott ring is one of my favorite rings to wear as of late because of it’s neutral white pearl color and gold accent.
My Annabella olive green hat is the final statement piece for this weekend-casual look. This hat compliments the embroidery on the back of my denim top and also provides another color palette into my denim-heavy outfit. I love how by adding an accessory as simple as a hat, an outfit can look that much more feminine and complete.
